The cluster is active in valorising and developing products for health and well-being through research and key enabling technologies to be applied to the improvement and innovation of primary systems for production, processing, transformation and preservation of products.
It focuses on personal health and well-being, particularly the most vulnerable individuals with nutrition-related diseases. RIBESNest proposes to use industrial biotechnology to identify new components and methodologies for the benefit of innovation, organisation and the development of improved marketing strategies for identified markets; the development of projects aimed at implementing the competitive capacity of companies and the construction of new development models applicable to reference sectors and new sectors.
