The European Week of Regions and Cities is the biggest annual Brussels-based event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union Cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance. The event is organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy and the European Committee of the Regions.
The 23rd edition of the European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek) will take place on 13-15 October 2025.
This year, the agenda will feature over 200 events. All activities were organised in person in Brussels.
The 2025 edition will focus on three topics:
- Cohesion and Growth for the Future – Discover how cohesion policy can drive sustainable growth and innovation across Europe.
- The Right to Stay: unlocking the potential of every territory – Discuss ways to ensure that people can thrive in their own regions.
- Cities Building Tomorrow – Explore the role of cities in shaping a sustainable and inclusive future.
